Putra, my hero
Hi guys, I'm back after taking a short break from the blog sphere. Busy following my hubby to check on car auto-parts and accessories shops. We are in the midst of revamping/decorating/modifying our dear car. I know it's costing us a few thousands. :(
First, we went to a bodykit shop called 'Body Art' and after seeing a few catalogues, i was like choose this one or no that one is nicer. Couldn't decide on one. Phew.... But the warning i got from my sweetheart was 'if you were to collide or someone hit the bumpers, it will break easily as they are made of fibre. So think twice before deciding'. The complete bodykit for our Putra cost RM850. My hubby wasn't keen on putting fibre bumpers instead he said it should remain as it is. We did the side skirting only, which was pretty cool.
On the following day, we went to the tyre shop. The guy recommended Proxes R1R tyres for our putra, it seems that was the tyre used in the Fast & Furious. It costs RM1300 complete with alignment. It took almost 2 1/2 hours to complete coz there were many cars already in the shop. So to kill time, i was talking with my love. I told him that as a husband he has to ensure the car is in good condition and with proper facilities before the wife drives the car. As you all know, ladies are always up to the trend and very neat, we don't want to get stuck in the middle of the road, crying for help. He was like 'ya ya papaya only, for a new driver like you, this is really too much to handle, which made me laugh out loud. So cute my darling.
Last week, we changed the door alarm system as well as the lights which costs nearly RM800. And just yesterday, it was sent for some knocking and spray-painting. From purplish-blue, its gonna be mica blue with pearl. And the price for that will be RM2300. Nevertheless, I'm so excited to see the outcome coz i chose that colour. It will be ready in 8 days. Really missing my car. I will post the pictures soon.
P.S. And it's really sad to know on the fuel price now. Normal full tank for my car is RM100 but now i think it would be RM 130 to RM150. How to survive like this with food price going up and fuel price going up? And i heard that its gonna be hiked again. What the hell is happening!

Living a Healthier Lifestyle
One quarter of the year has passed and its the new beginning of the 2nd quarter. It was like the year just started and now we are on the 5th month, nearing half of the year. Time really flies fast.
I have made some changes to my lifestyle. I have been going jogging lately with my friends thrice a week after work. There's a beautiful park specially made for joggers and some do cycle. This is situated nearby my housing estate. It has a small lake. A round of the lake is about 1.5km. Normally, we go for 4 rounds and sweat it out. And i do yoga at home on the days when I don't jog. Maintaining a healthy diet is also part of the changes. No more junk food!!! I eat more fruits and vegetable. I have cut down on oily stuff. But once in a while, i do indulge in fast food items but the no. of visits have gone down. Fast food items are very bad for us, especially the amount of oil and MSG used. Nothing can be compared to home-cooked food but that doesn't mean its not oily, huh. We still have to opt for the healthy method of cooking like steam, sauteed, bake or stir-fry with minimum amount of oil.
I bought a book on Nutrition Almanac Fourth Edition by Gayla J. Kirschmann and John D. Kirschmann. It has all the useful information for various kind of health problems and the solutions to it. This book offers quick answers to questions about nutrients plus gives you everything you need to plan a total nutritional program, all in a friendly, down-to-earth style. After reading this book, I have realised that we are lacking of many nutrients daily which is very essential on a day to day basis.
It's been 2 months since i've made the changes and i can see the difference in me. I feel very healthy this way. I hope you too can benefit by leading a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition.

Aliens attacked my Immune system
I have been down with flu and high fever. And the terrible coughs at night sounds like as if i am a T.B. patient. The throat aches so badly because of that. The worse part is that i can't eat anything, I don't have the appetite at all. I have been surviving on soups for the past 2 days. I hate porridge so i have no other choice than to have soup. The medicines are making me drowsy and making sleep for the whole day. I am a sick person!!! But i like the feeling that everyone seems to be very caring towards me like checking on me whether i'm fine or not. It feeIs so nice. I will start blogging once i kill all the aliens in my system. Till then you guys better guard your system by taking lots of Vitamin C.

I feel so independent and free to go out on my own. Do you wanna go for a ride with me??? (That is, if you have a strong heart) :p

Upcoming Bali Trip
My hubby and I are planning for a getaway to Bali, Indonesia in August. Actually, we just wanna take a short break from all the stress at work. And to enjoy some nice spa, good food and shopping, of course. So I have been browsing thru the sites and came across Bali Garden Hotel situated at Kuta area which somehow attracted me. It is said that staying at Kuta area is like at the central of the main spots that we should visit in Bali.
And I sent an email enquiry but unfortunately they are fully booked on the 1st week of Aug. I was recommended to their sister hotel, Samsara Hotel & Spa instead. The reservation staff also offered me a deluxe room at RM138 per day and a 10% discount of their Spa Packages, which made a big smile on my face. But anyway the Spa packages are god damn cheap in Bali! It's only about Rm40 - Rm60. Damn Shiok rite. We are really looking forward to this trip. I think I better start saving some money from now coz I'll be in a shopping spree in Aug. Lolz.... No one can stop me! Hehehe, see how whacky I can be.....
